Salesforce recently partnered with Google to better its vision of understanding customer needs, solving their problems, and identifying opportunities to help.

The blog post on Salesforce’s website states that this partnership will deliver new integrations that connect Salesforce with Google Analytics 360 and G Suite.

With the integration of Salesforce with Google Analytics 360, sales, marketing and advertising data across Salesforce Sales Cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Google Analytics 360 can be seamlessly connected. Analytics 360 will make audiences and campaign data available, directly within Marketing Cloud. Google’s ad platforms can also be leveraged better to find more customers with this integration.

The integration between G Suite and Salesforce Lightning and Quip will help unearth powerful customer intelligence. Salesforce Lightning will undergo integration with Gmail and Google Sheets. Quip Live Apps will be available for and inside Google Drive and Google Calendar.

The blog also states that, “As part of the agreement, Google will continue to use Salesforce as its preferred CRM provider to engage with its cloud customers in new and meaningful ways, while Salesforce will continue to use G Suite as its preferred email and productivity partner. Also, Salesforce has named Google Cloud as a preferred public cloud provider to support the company’s rapidly growing global customer base.”

Google has also offered eligible Salesforce customers that are new to Google's growing productivity and collaboration services to use (Restrictions apply) G Suite at no charge for up to one year.
